My name is Tanguy Leborgne, founder of The Product SherpaI’ve been leading product and business teams over the past 20+ years, grew talent, and helped them reach business excellence at companies like AdobeAvid, and Plantronics. The Product Sherpa is a natural continuity and extension of this same effort for more of you to benefit from this core expertise.

Through the years, I’ve realized most products fail for lack of method and alignment during the exploration phases of product development. The Product Sherpa helps product teams gain deep customer insights and build a strong product vision. The outcome is higher product adoption and customer retention leading to long-term success.

Tanguy’s experience is a deep foundation for The Product Sherpa. During eight years, he drove the vision, portfolio strategy and full P&L as Vice-President and General Manager for consumer headsets at Poly (Plantronics).

Obsessed with product excellence, Tanguy initiated and orchestrated complete business turnarounds leading to shorter product development times and improved profitability. When the Company’s overall strategy shifted, Tanguy successfully handled the sale of the gaming portion to Nacon.

Before spending eight years at Poly/Plantronics, Tanguy held a variety of similar general management, product, and marketing leadership roles at Avid for seven years and Adobe for eleven years. 

Living in California with his family since 1999, Tanguy enjoys the outdoors and running. He has run more than thirty full marathons, including at least one on each of the seven continents. Originally from France, Tanguy graduated with a Master’s degree from Reims Management School (now part of NEOMA Business School).
